Very "Fancy": Reba to be honored as CMT's Artist of a Lifetime

CMTCMT will honor Reba McEntire as its latest Artist of a Lifetime next month, during its annual Artists of the Year celebration.

Reba joins fellow legends like Loretta Lynn, Shania Twain, Kenny Rogers, and Merle Haggard, who’ve previously been given the award.

“I have loved entertaining people since I was a little girl,” Reba reflects, “and after being in the music business more than 40 years, I’m still having so much fun!”

“For CMT to recognize me as the Artist of a Lifetime is pretty special,” she adds.

Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, Luke Combs and Thomas Rhett will be recognized as the 2019 CMT Artists of the Year during the ninety-minute special.
