Carly Pearce gets “Closer to You” as she steps “Front and Center” on public TV tonight

Big Machine Tonight, you can tune in to watch the premiere of Carly Pearce’s episode of Front and Center on public television.

Recorded last September in New York City, Carly’s performance features songs from her debut album, including its chart-topping title track, “Every Little Thing,” plus the hit “Hide the Wine” and the fan favorite “If My Name Was Whiskey.”

“Since I was a little girl growing up in Kentucky, all I’ve wanted to do is sing country music like the greats on the Grand Ole Opry,” Carly says. “When the chance to truly be ‘front and center’ with my own songs came along, I was thrilled.”

“I’ve been inspired by so many artists and shows like this,” she adds, “[that] allow for both discovery and a deeper connection with fans.”

Check your local listings to see when Front and Center airs in your area. You can also watch Carly’s episode online at PBS.org.

The Kentucky native’s latest single, “Closer to You,” is currently nearing country’s top 25, as Carly opens Jason Aldean’s Ride All Night Tour this summer.

This weekend, the trek plays Gilford, New Hampshire on Friday and Saturday, before continuing on to Camden, New Jersey on Sunday.
