CurbDylan Scott’s next release will be a tribute to the late country legend Keith Whitley.
An Old Memory features seven songs made famous by the renowned traditionalist, as well as guest vocals from his son Jesse Keith Whitley and his widow, Lorrie Morgan.
“I love old school country music,” Dylan says. “I grew up listening to Keith Whitley songs with my dad. The tone of his voice was so unique and as a songwriter, his melodies and lyrics inspire me.”
“Quite frankly ‘Between an Old Memory and Me’ is the song that helped me get my record deal,” he continues. “Keith is truly one of my musical heroes.”
Dylan’s dad — a professional touring musician — joins him on Whitley’s chart-topping hit, “When You Say Nothing At All.” You can check out a video of the song on YouTube now.
