Tyler Hubbard’s second child — a son named Luca Reed — was born Monday at 3:40 a.m. in Nashville, arriving on his due date.

Tyler’s wife, Hayley, says his timing was perfect, as the process started just as Tyler returned from the Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour this weekend.

“The moment Tyler flew in from his last show of the weekend, the contractions started!” she tells People. “Tyler was so helpful in the birthing process from start to finish, and I’m so glad he made it home in time.”

The Florida Georgia Line hitmaker has plenty of praise for the new mother of two as well.

“Hayley was absolutely amazing throughout the whole labor,” Tyler says. “She was so patient, positive, and strong. She honestly made it look easy.”

“I feel so blessed to get to raise a family with such an incredible woman and amazing mother,” he adds. “She was meant for this and it’s so special to see.”

Eight-pound, eleven-ounce Luca joins older sister Olivia Rose, who’ll turn two in December.

“Luca looks a lot like Liv did as a newborn,” Hayley says.
