What makes him country: Luke Bryan extends Here’s to the Farmer campaign

ABC/Image Group LALuke Bryan is continuing to lend his support to a noble cause.

The country superstar has announced that he has extended his partnership with Bayer to support farming families until 2021. Known as Here's to the Farmer, the partnership, which began in 2015, has Bayer continuing to serve as the sponsor of Luke's annual Farm Tour.

There's also an online component that asks fans to share the hashtag #HEREStotheFARMER. For every hashtag shared on social media, Bayer will donate one meal to a family in need, with the intent of donating one million meals in total.

Additionally, at each tour stop on the 2019 Farm Tour, Luke will bring a local farmer on stage to recognize his or her work and Bayer will donate more than $10,000 to local food banks.

"I know the important role farmers play in our everyday lives and understand the hard work it takes for them to help feed America and the world," Luke says.

"That's why I'm excited to have this partnership with my friends at Bayer and be able to thank the American farmers for all the hard work they do by saying 'Here's to the Farmer.'"

The 2019 Farm Tour will travel to six farms across the U.S. from September 26 - October 5.
