Kane Brown sells out L.A.’s Staples Center for venue’s 20th anniversary concert

ABC/Mitch HaasethKane Brown has accomplished a significant career feat.

The “Good as You” singer sold out the Staples Center in Los Angeles in under two hours after tickets went on sale on July 26.  It’ll be his first time headlining at the famed venue — and the gig will help the Staples Center celebrate its own milestone.

Kane is the main talent for the Staples Center’s 20th anniversary concert on October 18. He’ll bring “The Git Up” hit maker Blanco BrownGranger Smith and American Idol season 16 third place finalist Gabby Barrett along with him as opening acts.

“Staples Center is an incredibly diverse and iconic venue and it is an honor to headline and be a part of their 20th-anniversary kick-off celebration,” Kane says.

“From the Lakers, Clippers, Kings and Sparks, to all the artists that have graced the stage there, they bring the best in entertainment to Los Angeles and I cannot wait to celebrate the last 20 years and kick off the next 20.”

The concert is the first in a series of events taking place throughout the year to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the arena’s opening on October 17, 1999.
