Once Jon Pardi’s done working the “Night Shift,” he promises a new album that’s “rowdy” and “upbeat”

ABC/Mark LevineAs Jon Pardi‘s latest hit, “Night Shift,” nears the top of the chart, he’s also busy readying his third album, the follow-up to 2016’s California Sunrise.

“It’s gonna be rowdy,” Jon tells ABC Radio. “It’s gonna be upbeat.”

“There’s some great songs on it,” Jon adds. “And all the things that we recorded are [by] great songwriters. [There’s] some great artists [on it], and I got to co-write a lot on it, too. But we had some killer songs to come along.”

In addition to putting out new music, Jon’s also anticipating reuniting with Dierks Bentley on the road later this month, for the latest leg of the Burning Man Tour.

“It’s the ultimate road family,” Jon says. “And we’re looking forward [to seeing] even, like, all his crew guys and everybody.”

“And it’s a great show and we usually do some stuff together on tour. And it’s just gonna be another wild party. Not like my last name, but just a wild party,” Jon jokes. “We had a lot of good times on the last one!”

Jon’s next date with Dierks is May 30 in Cincinnati, Ohio. They’ll be working together through their September 8 show in Sacramento, California.
